Ashtanga yoga is a powerful method for the cultivation of self-awareness, self-knowledge, compassion and relaxation. The powerful vinyasa system helps the energy to flow and release tensions from the body so that we feel refreshed, relaxed and more at ease.
Grounded in the traditional approach, we help each student individually, applying and adapting the vinyasa and asanas to student needs.
Informed by her Buddhist meditation background, Tamara leads the shala environment quietly with a meditative approach.
We support students practicing primary, intermediate and advanced A. We welcome all versions and variations on the sequence, as well as short forms and restorative practice on moon days and less energetic days.
