If you are completely new to yoga or Ashtanga Yoga, your options are to join a beginners course in Cambridge, join a mixed-level class in Shelford, or book a private one-to-one yoga session with Rachel. If you have previously practised yoga, it’s usually fine to just come along to our regular sessions.

Rachel teaches a beginners course in Cambridge every month or so. The dates and other details are announced on this page, and also via the newsletter (subscribe) and Facebook page. However, feel free to contact us to register your interest in starting yoga with us – if enough people are interested, we may be able to set something up even if we have not yet scheduled the next course. The courses are suitable for those who are completely new to yoga or Ashtanga Yoga, as well as those who already have some experience and would like to revisit the basics and/or join our Mysore (assisted self-practice) sessions.

Each course starts with a Saturday morning workshop and then continues over 4 weeks on your choice of either Monday or Wednesday mornings. There’s also an option to sign up for the Saturday workshop only.

Monday evening classes are held at Little Shelford Pavilion. These are small group (maximum 8 participants), mixed level classes, open to complete beginners as well as experienced practitioners. ADVANCE BOOKING ESSENTIAL.
